Pacific Table

Today, we checked off the first place on our Brunch Bucket List.  We went to Pacific Table and it was a great start to our bucket list.  I got the Lemon Ricotta Pancakes with powdered sugar and fresh berries.  I also got a side of bacon because, well, bacon.  Husband got chilaquiles, he said they were phenomenal.  But let's talk more about my pancakes.  They tasted like my grandma's lemon cake.  And that is a very high compliment in my book.  They were sweet without being cloying, they were tart without making me pucker up.  Basically, they were the best pancakes of my life.  The bacon was also delicious, not too crispy, not too floppy, good quality, with the perfect little ends of melty fat that make me oh so happy.  We would be hard pressed to have started our brunch bucket list off any stronger.

I also had a mimosa, because what is brunch without a mimosa?  It was good, not too strong, but still with a kick.  They had other brunch cocktails and all of their other brunch items looked pretty promising.  I saw the french toast come out and it looked incredible, maybe next time.

The brunch entrees are pretty reasonable, most are about $10-14, though the range is $8-21 (the lobster omelette is the priciest of course.)  The side orders seemed a little more expensive, $5 for a side of bacon, sausage, potatoes, or fruit, but I got a side of bacon anyway because, well, bacon.  I got 4 rashers of bacon, which is more than a typical "side" of bacon means, so I felt ok about that.  Brunch cocktails, mimosas, included were $3 each and mimosas were available by the carafe for $12.

Verdict:  Delicious, would definitely do again for brunch.
